Jakarta, kpu.go.id– Entering the second day of selection test for 2012-2017 KPU Commissioners and Bawaslu Candidates, the selection team held psychological test and medical test for Commissioners of KPU and Bawaslu Candidates on Wednesday (18/01). The test was held at 2 locations; psychological test was held at the Millenium Hotel and medical test at Medical Check Up Instalation at RSPAD Gatot Subroto Hospital.

Due to limited time and place, the tests were divided into several schedules. First on Wednesday (18/01) out of 106 candidates of KPU Commissioners, 71 candidates took the psychological test at the Millenium Hotel, while 35 others took the medical test at RSPAD Gatot Subroto Hospital. Next, the 71 candidates will take medical test in 2 shifts, namely on Thursday 35 candidates and on Friday 36 candidates.

While out of 61 Bawaslu candidates, 41 candidates will also take the psychological test at the Millenium Hotel together with other KPU Commissioner candidates, and 20 others will take the medical test at RSPAD Gatot Subroto Hospital. And then the 41 candidates will take the medical test in 2 shifts, namely on Thursday and Friday with 20 and 21 candidates respectively.

The normal capacity of RSPAD Gatot Subroto Hospital Medical Check Up Installation Unit is only 30 persons, with the maximum capacity of 50 persons a day. So that all of the candidates of KPU and Bawaslu will be divided into 3 shifts: Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. This medical test includes internist check up, dental check up, nerve check up, opthalmologist check up, and Ear Nose and Throat check up, supporting diagnostic such as thorax, treadmill test, USG, spirometry, audiometric, and pathology.

Meanwhile the psychological test for the candidates was really exhausting due to a lot of high qualifed questions, the cold temperature of the test room, and the test duration from morning until evening. One of the test participants from Sulawesi said after the test,”We need high concentration for the psychological test because it did not require learning some books before the test but we’ve got to use our mind and thoughts, we’ve got to be calm and focus.”

In addition to written test, psychological test and medical test, the selection team also conducted interview test which will be held on Friday 20 January 2012 at Millenium Hotel. According to schedule the interview test will be divided into some groups and each group consists of 15 participants. In the interview test, every participant will be given 20 minutes.
